After what feels like a blink of an eye, it’s November! That means I am now a mom of a teen driver as my son, Dylan, turned 16 on November 2nd - crazy! The other crazy thing is that Thanksgiving is already right around the corner and the snow has arrived.
With the busy holiday season upon us, I wanted to reach out and let you know that the clinic schedule for November through January is shaping up to be extra busy. This is due to days off around Thanksgiving and Christmas, a 5 day virtual continuing education class I’m attending in the middle of December (super excited for this!!), and a week of vacation in January. So hop online and get your appointments scheduled!
I apologize if you are having difficulty getting an appointment in a timely manner. If you are looking at the online schedule calendar and not seeing many openings that work for you, please go ahead and schedule whatever you can find online (even if it’s quite a ways out) and then send me an email at lori@andersonsuperiorwellness.com with your request on when you would prefer to get in and I will add you to a cancellation list. I still have the online schedule calendar set for being able to schedule appointments 60 days out from the current date.
If you ever need to cancel an appointment, please email me or call/text (715-815-0802) me as soon as you know you won’t be able to make it. That way it will provide time to fill the spot using the cancellation list and you will make someone’s day! Cancels due to illness or weather can occur at any time, but in all other circumstances I require a 24 hour cancel notice in order not to be charged for the visit.
I’m also working to phase out late evening Monday appointments (6:45pm and 8pm) as those are starting to interfere with my family’s schedule. With the long, dark evenings, 8pm kind of feels like midnight, so it’s a struggle for most people to venture out at that time anyways. I’m planning to make up for it by adding a 5pm session on Mondays and then will also be occasionally adding 9:05am appointments 1-2 times during the week. Why the odd time of 9:05am? Well, that will be a “back-to-back” session, so it will give me a few minutes to clean (I have it down to a quick routine now hahaha) after my 8am client leaves and limit you having to wait too long in the cold clinic building hallway. However, as we know, my time management skills are sometimes not the greatest, so just a reminder that if the door is shut closed, a session is still in progress and I’ll be with you shortly.
Last but not least, I am always having to play the game of the internet and could use your help to make sure others can keep finding me online (and to separate me from a hot tub company with the same name in the UK lol). If you have a quick minute, I would be so grateful if you could leave a review on Google (Google "Superior Wellness Washburn" and click on Reviews) and/or on my Facebook page. Thanks in advance!
I hope that you and your family have a great rest of this year! I am always so appreciative of you and that you choose to come in to see me for manual therapy treatments. I look forward to our sessions and every day feel thankful for your support. You are just the best!
Peace, Love, & Vegetables,
Dr. Lori
